Kentucky Long Term Drug Rehab Centers

Kentucky Long-Term Drug Rehab Centers Helpline was set up as a no cost service to get people help for addiction problems. We will answer your questions about th different tratment modalities and share our personal and professional experience in finding long term drug rehabilitation programs that work. When a substance abuser has decided to get help, i is very important to be able to act quickly, as they can otherwise change their minds again or get into legal problems and even overdosing so that it becomes too late to go to treatment.

It is sometimes beneficial for the addict to get away from his environment and go into a program that is ut of state. We can help with that also. In fact thre are certain type of drugs rehab programs that are only located in some states. but it is worth it to travel to get the better treatment.

Finding Long Term Drug and Alcohol Rehab Programs in Kentucky

At the end of this page we have provided a list of long term drug rehab programs in Kenntucky. These are programs that are 30 days or more of residential treatment. We do recommend that long term drug and alcohol rehab programs be 90 days or more. A person with substance abuse issues has developed many problems both physically and mentally and it usually is not possible to fix it all in 30 days or on an out-patient basis.

You can read about the different types of drug rehab programs here. One program does not fit everyone and it is important to find the one that will have the best chance to work the individual person.

Every State has a govenment office called the Single State Agency (SSA). This office is usally located within the Department of Mental Health. The SSA is responsible for oversight and funding of drug rehab programs, both long term and short term.

This office can tell you which programs are state funded. There are situations where a state funded program is neeeded because of absolutely no other resources. It is a tough way to go as it is not the best programs. Again, you can call us for advice on the program you chose.

You can do your own research to find an appropriate program for yourself or a loved one or you can call us and we will help. It can be a bit of a jungle to try and determine on your own what may be best which is why we have this service.
