Finding Long Term Drug and Alcohol Treatment Programs in Illinois

Once someone has decided to go to treatment for a drug and/or alcohol problem, the next task is to find a treatment center. We recommend that you look for a long term drug and alcohol rehabilitation center because short term treatment has low statistics of real recovery. There can be some situations where long term treatment is not feasible, but if there are resources and time, it is the most effective way to go.

You can try and navigate through the research of finding the different long term drug treatment centers and find the best fit. You can also call us and we will help you find a treatment center that has the biggest chance of success. We have many years of experience (over 30 years) and we know which treatment centers work.

Every state has a Single State Agency that is responsible for funding and oversight of all drug treatment programs in the state. If there are no financial resources or the person does not have health insurance, the Single State Agency can be contacted to get a list of state funded programs and those that have sliding fee scale. It is important to not just jump on he first program you find. When it comes to state funded programs, they are often underfunded and do not have enough resources to run a good program, but if it is the only option, you can research and find one that is decent and does a proper job.
